‘Chrome Courage’ A pair of used Dr Martens boots heavily embellished by hand to give it a couture look by adding silver insects in linear flight patterns, they have also been used to compliment certain areas of the once plain canvas. 
The back features three insects on the iconic pull tab applied with contrasting yellow thread to match the original thread. The inner side of the boots feature insects following the original stitching points, the outside is a more complex 3 way flight pattern, going from above the ankle to the bottom lace hole. 
This level of embellishments allows you to appreciate the craftsmanship and the artistic concept from every angle, all together 66 silver insects have been sewn on by hand.
